What LactiGo gel is and who makes it
LactiGo is a gel you rub into the skin before or after exercise, made by Outplay Inc of Las Vegas, and it comes in two versions: an Original gel with no menthol and a Menthol gel. A 100 ml bottle of either is $55.00, one-time, as read on October 4, 2026.
Both gels list carnosine and magnesium sulfate, and LactiGo states no amount of either. Carnosine is a dipeptide, a chain of the amino acids beta-alanine and histidine. Outplay Inc is also named as the assignee of US patent 10,973,868, a carnosine-magnesium composition for use on skin; a patent covers an invention, not a result. The LactiGo review gives the verdict.

The store calls the no-menthol gel Regular in product names and Original in pack names; this guide says Original. The Menthol gel has an over-the-counter drug label on DailyMed, the US National Library of Medicine's drug-label database, and none was found for the Original gel. The Menthol label lists its purpose as "Topical analgesic", the label's own term for a rub-on product.

DailyMed holds a second Menthol gel label, dated March 2026, for a 946 ml pump bottle at menthol 1.5%, so the package you receive shows which strength you have. LactiGo's Original gel page lists nine ingredients while its FAQ lists seven for the no-menthol gel and notes that lists may differ by territory. LactiGo ingredients has the lists as printed.
What LactiGo says the gel does
LactiGo's store describes the Original gel as "Everyday body care for active routines" and the Menthol gel as "A cooling sensation for active routines". On its Menthol gel page LactiGo makes performance and recovery claims; they are LactiGo's claims, and this guide reports none of them as a result. That page carries LactiGo's notice: "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration."
The 2025 study of the gel itself was a pilot of seven elite male rugby sevens players, supported by Hong Kong Baptist University. It measured power in 12 six-second cycle sprints, not soreness or recovery between workouts. Does LactiGo work gives what it found.

LactiGo's pages document no free sample or free period of use; its store pages show a 30-day money-back guarantee, and its refund page gives first-time, one-bottle customers up to two months to claim a refund.
Pick the Original gel for a gel with no menthol and the Menthol gel for one that lists menthol 1.25%. Pick PR Lotion, $34.99 for a 10.6 oz (300 g) bottle, for a lotion built on sodium bicarbonate, which LactiGo's FAQ says LactiGo does not contain.
